Over 250 smallholder coffee farmers from the Ululu, Idiwili, Mafumbo, and Illomba villages contribute to the Umoja Ululu co-op in Tanzania, which is focused on maintaining healthy relationships with producers as well as improving facilities and fermentation tanks. Farmers deliver cherry in the afternoons to be depulped throughout the evening before being washed and fermented for 24-48 hours. The coffee is then dried on tables for two weeks. This peaberry is crisp and refreshing; a drop of sweet sunshine.
