We all had to do a double-take when we tasted this offering on the cupping table, and we have no doubt you are going to enjoy it.

This coffee comes from the area around Kayu Aro village in Sumatra, where
smallholder growers live near the Kerinci volcano. There are about 300 smallholder
producers represented in this lot, most of whom grow various local Catimor coffees.
The coffee for this lot is a Wet-Hull Honey, which means that the coffee is
depulped, allowed to dry to 30–35% in its mucilage layer, and then Wet-Hulled.

While Sumatran coffees do tend to bring spice and herbal characteristics, what sets this one apart is it's full juicy fruitied front sip into a complex and layered herbal finish.  It is refreshing for us to find coffees that have such an interesting experience in the cup, and we are so excited for you to try it.

We taste: passionfruit, kiwi, syrupy body, complex
